As a mom who works from home and runs a business from home it has been a pleasure to have our 9 year old twins with Teneo Online School, the school offers structure, live interactive classes and awesome teachers who really care about our children’s well being.

Our twins are in Grade 3 and know so much about technology already thanks to online learning. Because we have 2 children in the same grade it’s imperative to plan ahead, check the work plan in advance for any preparations or special art objects that may be needed that week. Teneo promotes independence and it’s a joy to see our little ones doing tasks on their own.

Certain days are slightly chaotic with gymnastics and soccer extra murals therefore the work plan assists as it clearly states any additional work or assignments that may need to be completed. Our homeschooling journey is uncomplicated and easy to manage thanks to Teneo Online School.

Teneo has a fantastic system. I have complete access to see when his lessons are scheduled, his attendance, assignments, and tests.

I’m Tatum Billings and I’m in Grade 7E5. What I like about the live classes at Teneo is that the teachers encourage the learners to ask questions and that you get to interact with the class which makes you feel like you’re part of something and it encourages you to do your school work.

My favorite subject at Teneo is Afrikaans. Because the teacher makes it very fun and interactive. My favorite teacher has to be my Afrikaans teacher, Ms. Pelzer. I like her because she makes the class very fun.

How is Teneo different from other online schools?

School is available in three different formats: Recorded, Live + Recorded, and Live.

Can you complete your South African National Senior Certificate with Teneo Online School?

Yes. You have the option to choose between two different examination boards – SACAI or the IEB – in order to complete your Matric.

After I complete my Matric with Teneo, will I be able to apply to South African tertiary institutions for further studies?

Yes, once you successfully complete your Matric certification, you may apply to tertiary institutions in South Africa and abroad.

Will I be eligible for local and international universities?
