Our story since 2018
Since 2018, Teneo has educated more than 20,000 learners, including over 4,000 matriculants.
Along the way we built the Smart School System™ in-house, so teachers can spot learning gaps early and act on them for every learner.
In 2025 Teneo was named Best Online & Home Schooling Education Resource in South Africa at the MEA Business Awards.

Our credentials
Curriculum and accreditation
Teneo follows the South African CAPS/KABV curriculum and is registered with accredited exam boards: the Independent Examinations Board (IEB, 11489) and the South African Comprehensive Assessment Institute (SACAI, 99304), both accredited by Umalusi.
Through the applicable IEB or SACAI assessment pathway, qualifying learners can earn the National Senior Certificate (NSC). Pathway availability and assessment services depend on the learner’s grade and learning option.
