Pilates is a low-intensity, highly beneficial workout that helps to strengthen muscles, improve mobility and circulation, and relieve tension from the stress of schoolwork – perfect for people who sit for long periods of time every day.
Classes always stick to the core of Basi Pilates, but every class is different. Breathing is always focal point too, as not only does it help to activate the muscles but it also helps clients to be present in their movement, which can help relieve tension and stress. You don’t have to be the most flexible or strongest person to do Pilates, as it’s all about working within your own range.
