Teneo Education adheres to Facebook’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities and expects all Facebook users to do the same. This also includes interactions on any social media channel where Teneo Education has a presence, such as Instagram. In addition, Teneo Education reserves the right to remove any content posted and/or comments that:
- discriminates against or disparages any individual on the basis of race, gender, sex, pregnancy, marital status, ethnic or social origin, colour, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion, conscience, belief, culture, language or birth;
- constitutes or may constitute cyber-bullying in any form;
- contains personal information of any other person which may identify them or lead to them being identified;
- constitutes or may constitute hate speech;
- is in a language other than English and cannot be translated by a free online translator such as Google Translate;
- contains advertising or solicitations or links to any site or group which is not affiliated with Teneo Education; and/or
- otherwise breach any of Teneo Education’s Terms and Conditions.
Teneo Education encourages all users to utilise the report links made available by Facebook or Instagram when finding inappropriate or abusive content and to report the content to Teneo Education.
To protect the privacy and safety of our students, time-sensitive issues and pupil-specific communications should be delivered via a closed, secure system such as those provided through the Teneo Education management portal or by calling Teneo Education directly at 010 164 0300. Teneo Education reserves the right to suspend or block access to any social media platform it controls to any person who does not comply with the Codes of Conduct or its Terms and Conditions.
